Sunset - Yellow Pink
Warmth.
I wanted to paint the sunset on the beach in May, it was cold, abandoned but wonderful to be there again. And taking the smaller size, 20x25 cm (8x10"), it was a bit different, 'less room to stroke away', with the bigger brushes, it was a pleasant experience.
We calculated what time the sun would set, and during May it sets at about the same time as in August. So we drove back in the dark, home late, a late dinner and to bed late, but happy times.
Everybody who feels 'stuck' in some way should be painting on 'a' ANY beach. It's just so good for you. Is it the 'ions' in the air? The fresh breeze, the sounds of waves, nature itself? The sun?
All of the above!!
