Sunset - Sun Eye

Light Lemon. Light Turquoise. 

I'm looking forward to painting the sun, out with a group, on the beach in August. They'll experience what I do: finding 'a different sun' every day.

- Your disposition is different every day, - how you interact with your subject, - if you have patience, - if you are slow, - if you are lucky, happy, humble, or, - if you'll go 'in a fight' to 'get it right', then of course, - there's weather, moisture influencing what we see.

It's always a surprise to what you'll come home with. 

Pastels, soft contrasts, it's getting harder to get good pictures of the paintings. The phone cannot do it. But a mirror-reflex camera can (almost).
This painting is magic holding it in your hands, the bright pastels, light lemon, light turquoise woven through whites, and all darks still bright.
