Sunrise in Winter

Paint before the overcast.

The yellow sun is easier to paint, there is more light out, more light in the sky.

That beautiful haze, in a rainbowish order.
There is always something to paint when you start early. After 10,11 often there’s overcast. Start earlier and catch the beauty!

I can say with this one, even if the sky might be overcastish, the morning sun, when it can peek through, it's wonderful to paint. You can then experiment with pastels, colored greys, experiment with moderate and maximized saturation! It's NEVER boring and will optimize your every day: for example, if in Spring the sun rises at 6 AM, your 'work' is done at 10 AM. Wow. And then you can garden, do desk stuff, clean and such. Don't wait, just start.
