Sun Through Trees and Snow
Sunrise Through Trees + Snow.
Then I wanted to capture the sunrise with snow. Got lucky as the mornings started bright and I could find a spot with Trees and not just vast straight horizons. Seeing the sun shining through them gives such a fascinating subject one can't easily get tired of.

I'll always start in darkness. It's the only way to be ready for the sun rising.
Setting up the easel, mixing a few colors, creating a composition, most of it needs this prep time.
