Sunset & Clouds - On the Beach

That hurdle MUST be crossed.

Often a moment is SO pretty, the fear of ‘not being able to paint that’ will be there matching it. Understand that this is normal. Similar to a penalty in an important game, ‘just do it’. Make moments last!

Because NOT painting it because of the fear that you cannot do it is just a waste.
What’s there to gain. Dive in head first. Just try. Trying is enough.

Make a ‘reflection’: Understand that -yes- nature is probably always more stunning than a painting, but moments in nature pass just as swift as they appear.
You can make moments last by painting it.
And you’ll have a memory to look at.
When you do not like the painting afterwards, just put it somewhere out of sight and understand you’ve put in learning time. Exercise.

All new paintings build on this exercise.
Without painting A there cannot be painting B, Z, etc.
Fear is a bad advisor when it comes to painting.
Understand that’s just a hurdle you MUST cross.
And probably very often. (As that fear might not go away! So do not wait for it to go away.)
