Grey days, during daytime, here I created a smaller painting after a bigger one, and it's true: the second one can be the 'fun one' where you are more free, more playful, less complicated and more direct. As was this a success and the one before- not so much.

Happy it found a good home! I can really love these results. And you always try to get good photos so others can get a sense of that 'aura' as well. Not easy to have a 2D picture convey the impression of a painting! (in real life, holding it in your hands).

The duct tape from having an umbrella up and taped to the easel visible here. Only dog walkers go out in grey and rainy days, but you as a painter should go more often in these circumstances as well. It allows for different views AND different palettes!
