Seascape 'Best Days'
Figures Move!
I won't lie to you: painting moving figures IS hard to do. Somehow you 'choose' a certain position, a composition that will work within the painting you want to create.
For me, this will mean scraping a LOT. And re-painting a lot again and again. This is more difficult than painting clouds.
Yes, you could take a few snapshots and use these. But I can hardly see my phone screen at the beach, and why bother. Painting 'just enough' (simplifying) is a natural side effect in chasing movement. (Which I very much like to see in painting.)
Too many details or too much 'tightness' is something I don't like to see in paintings. I can recommend people loving this way of portraying figures: just practice With paint. It's a different thing to sketch with a line or with a pencil. Just practice a lot, and you'll get better at it Fast!
