Paintings in Oils by Roos Schuring.
Plein air painting, Images & Videos, Enjoy!
It seems again far away, the heat of Summer. Yet I have still more beauties to share with you from this time back. In Australia's spring season has just begun, so it's all relative, time. (This is a Dutch beach.)
In my classes at the beach I most often skip teaching in Summer.
Artists often have asked me to do classes then, but I think it's easier to paint a good seascape in either Spring or Autumn.
Creating these Summer beaches, with figures and all, I think it's just more difficult. I think it's wisest to start with creating good skies, good sand areas, have an ocean in and focus first on getting the harmony right between those 3 elements. When you control this, you can add figures into the mix. Start simple.
