Paintings in Oils by Roos Schuring.
Plein air painting, Images & Videos, Enjoy!
Feeling the winds through the hairs! Forgetting about all of the problems, it's the best thing you can do, get the easel, go out. A walk could be great too.
That boat gives it a bit of a historic feeling about it. Those small things.

A beautiful view. That boat was just a few minutes near the shoreline, don't know why. Perhaps a shrimp boat? I painted it moving out. After the kite surfers entered the scene, painted these in the center.
I will drop everything when something enters my scene literally and I feel I can use it in the painting.
So many artists stop to look at their scene once 'busy painting it'.
When you do see great elements passing, whether it's a horse, kite, figure, cow, boat, rainbow, stop everything and place it in!!
Then after you can complete other elements more. Clouds might also fit in the category of 'paint it now'.
Just depending on the weather. Will the clouds keep to pass by? Then you can take more time.
Often -at the beach- cloudy skies will get swiftly replaced by clear blue skies. Then clouds are a priority to get in, more so than ocean or sand.
