Rough Weather On The Beach
Imprints, Memories in Paint.
Rough days with my class on the beach.
I do love it. Hardly any 'pass-byers', that gives you so much more concentration!
The winds influencing everything, sky, waves, diagonals enter the painting.
(And the winds enter the painting. Something NOBODY could do in their studio! That's the magic of pleinair. The absolute direct translation from seeing (and feeling!) to doing, from being there to an imprint in paint.)
And if you're lucky, there is always LIGHT to be painted. Dark grey clouds can accentuate this.
Surfers, kite surfers love this weather too.
