One of my most favourite subjects is to paint the cloud reflections in the shallow water areas.
The reason: because it’s difficult :)
Look at the ocean on the left. What beautiful pastels (light colors). So light and still so saturated. That light.
The middle of a shallow water area catching The Most light. From there it trickles in.
Paint the light!
And it's best seen ~ and painted in the early morning! After midday things 'get flat'. But, each time has its pros and cons. Of course. Just -see- the difference.
