Painting Before Sunset

Your disposition will also influence 'the moment you're painting'.
When you're excited, in awe, in a rush or lazy, bored or inspired, it reflects onto the canvas. Yes, aren't all creations 'autobiographic', and of course, there are more things influencing, external and internal. The most important 'influencer' is to have a confident + 'in awe' state of being I think.
When either the confidence or humble state is gone I will mess up because I'm not able to view what's there. Weird how that goes.
An example would be: When I'm filming the process and it's the first painting after a break and the conditions are so so. I lack the awe and relaxedness, there is a pressure to succeed (ego?), the confidence becomes a question mark, and so on, that's not good.

Not talking about this session. Here I was so happy to see the sun again, the time before sunset. And I think the joy comes through.
