Hoping.
It's a rollacoaster ride, painting the sunset, expecting, hoping, hoping for clouds that yet let the sun peek through.
Or, when it has disappeared behind clouds or greys, that it will return. And often it will. Often unexpected. This painting is about that fine line between night and day, the remaining reddish light saying goodbye. Unexpected gifts.
