Painting a Narcissus - Gouache

White Lion Narcissus.

You can see here, with blogging the paintings, I vary going from light backgrounds to dark ones, I like both options. Both are fine if you want to accentuate the light.

At first I wanted to paint this background very colorful (see pic below), but decided to keep it simple later on. Yellows in shade are fascinating.

The weather changed and it got much warmer quick.

Here I painted one of my first blooming narcissus. This is again gouache.
The flower has a triple center, 'White Lion' is the name for the bulb.

I wanted to use this colorful background at first.

A good idea for another time, kept it simple.
