Paintings in Oils by Roos Schuring.
Plein air painting, Images & Videos, Enjoy!
It took me 10 years to understand how important it is to shift the painting time to either morning or evening, just to get a different/warmer color palette.
The pink clouds in the evening, here the pink clouds of morning are so pretty. But it’s all development, and changes come in time.
Trusting your process is therefore important, so you can let go. And your development will take you places. Not the other way around. It’s therefore also important to STOP comparing your work to that from another painter.
Your path is an individual one. Your path demands/needs your dedication, respect. If you compare yourself it causes you to lose respect for your OWN development perhaps.
Give it respect and TRUST that it will take you places. Beautiful places in your development.
