Beautiful Sun

Sungazing sitting down.

We changed beaches, and found this area without any people, quiet.

Then it's great to 'only' paint the sun. Difficult enough, but beautiful.

I look at the directions of light. And at the colors around the sun. Turquoises, lemon yellows, further out reds join in.

I painted this sitting down, and it's so good to experiment in this too.
Sitting will prevent taking distance a bit, but if you look (to you painting) via the mirror, you might get that same total view often enough to be able to paint it well.

Sitting down will 'ground' you more, perhaps it relaxes you more. The contemplation will be different. I like 'the energetic' when I stand, and the more 'private painting' (quiet time) you get when sitting down. People don't walk up to you (as much) when you sit. Big benefit.
