This Was awesome to witness, and I'm glad I could convey it into paint. Into an awesome painting :) It doesn't always happen! That you can be sure of.

I always tell my students, NO PAINTER has a 100% success rate. None!

It's not about wanting every painting to be 'perfect' and getting disappointed when you'll have 'trashables' in your mix. No!  
It's about something far more important. 

It's knowing you have a success rate: This percentage climbs, in time, with practice.
