Hazy Warm Sunset

Soft Contrasts, Warm Colors.

It was almost a disappointment when we would arrive at the beach and the clouds had cleared away, goes to show how it works with fascinations, a specific focus on something lasts for a while and you want (to paint) more of it, and more, and more.

But: it was a beautiful evening, there was a haze in the air, turning the parts more warm and soft. This is very different to a too clear sky/evening, that will turn a horizon too tight, and contrasts so sharp.

There is a one minute video that does not show the painting's soft warm colors, as the phone has difficulty portraying soft contrasts, but here you see the actual colors in this painting. Yes and there were soft bits of clouds later, so I got these in too. The light lines on clouds is always a beautiful sight and worth including.
