This was painted on last year's eve. (2015 to 2016)

Very cold, same spot where I painted this a year before. I also tried to have a simple color-selection for this painting. 

I most often start very early. So you'll only see a little bit of fireworks. Very low near the horizon and sporadic. In the years after this I painted first the landscape in the night and I painted in the fireworks at a fireworks show after. Yes, you can mix & match, though working pleinair will always help the painting.
