Paintings in Oils by Roos Schuring.
Plein air painting, Images & Videos, Enjoy!
Here I share about the Seascapes I created in cold Spring first, Summer ones after.
It was so good to be back. The first day of teaching my Masterclass it rained quite heavily.
Did I before tell you about the beginning days of teaching at the beach, where I wanted to rent a ‘party tent’ to combat rain?
Haha.
Of course, a good idea, maybe not entirely feasible.
Plus how can one move with the tide? Winds, etc.
So now the motto is: “Rain or Shine” and we got hosed.
BUT! It can deliver beautiful scenes. Dark grey top skies, with under that light. You’ll often see me paint this. Because I love these effects.

May as cold as March!
Try creating your greys from 'color' and not from a black. For example blue+brown can give a good start. But you can also work with purples+greens or yellows, and so on.
