Cows - See You Next Spring

Yes, what a beautiful scene!
Nothing better than dark skies with rainbows, and cows under it.

It’s a real joy to darken up the whole painting. Try it yourself!

I know there are a lot of painters who start to paint cows from life and they struggle a bit.
A few posts back (with TIPS in the title) I suggest more, but let me here state again how important it is that you go and sketch their poses. This, or painting them a lot of times, it helps to have their shape engrained in your mind.

This makes it easier to finish a shape when they DO move, or never come back.
