Paintings in Oils by Roos Schuring.
Plein air painting, Images & Videos, Enjoy!
The night before I failed at painting the sunset. A scraper. The next evening I hoped for a similar sunset, got my wish and got it into paint.
Persistence will pay off. Failing sucks and feels bad. But don't let go. Don't give up.

Day 1 - Perhaps I started too late
I left with disappointment.
The next day I could paint it, seeing a similar sky, using the bits and pieces of Day 1 plus this time I started in time.
The good thing about 'wipers' or 'scrapers' (unsuccessful or half finished paintings): you already have colors on, you don't start on white.
This saves you time the next time you paint it, and best is to not have this be a dried start.
(Put the painting in the fridge overnight so the oil paint stays 'wet'.)
Turquoises, yellows, warm pinks, greys and lightblues for the ocean & far away pier.
