Paintings in Oils by Roos Schuring.
Plein air painting, Images & Videos, Enjoy!
A very Summerish view. (Painted in the summer of 2020. I'm still behind on posting these all. So what better time than now.)
Painting clouds never gets boring. Especially because they move, morph. Toss out your photos and paint from life! Movement enters your brush. You might get better results! I really think so.
It’s interesting when you can use a high key palette. This means using pastel colors, highlights and using the midtones as high darks, omitting the 'real' high darks.
Not one road is better than the other. 1) We can paint what is there, what we see, we can 2) paint everything darker than we think it is, which is VERY interesting to do, you should try this! And we can 3) paint everything lighter than we think it is.
These are tools in your toolbox! Experimentation makes painting fun.
