Paintings in Oils by Roos Schuring.
Plein air painting, Images & Videos, Enjoy!
So red can be painted in gouache of course. I have a red tulip in gouache here. Though I do think oils is much more strong (or powerful) when you're creating red -RED!- flowers. Not pink, not purple but -red red red!-
Of course, you'll need yellows, oranges to make this red be brightest.
This tulip painting process was also recorded. I might create a film of it, I might not. Too much todos!
After a day or two I couldn't use this tulip for a second painting anymore, I was too late.
A shame, it was the only one, non-double leaved, I have many of those double leaved ones.
But the simple BIG red tulip (almost hand size!), it's hard to find.
You probably won't find them at your regular flower shop.
These are mostly found/planted in gardens.
