In the dunes, a sunrise!
I think I'll return to sunrises in the landscape more now that Autumn is starting a bit.
My personal search is mostly involving mid-tones, to yes, play with light, but to stay away from taking more, more, more 'whites' to create light, to not end up with a 'pastellish' colored painting.
Why? It's interesting and it could give more depth to a painting when you can use 'colored greys' or 'darker highlights'.
We arrived 'too late' to see it rise in red. (we WERE on time a few days later...)
